I don’t like modern signage in the Scottish hills – waymarks, and the like.
I do like old signs like this one. Ancient ways through and, in this case, over the hills. They stir the imagination.
Incidentally,
‘Glenisla’ should be two words
‘Glen Isla’. There are no rock climbs in
Glencoe, the village,
many in
Glen Coe. And the
'Glenshee' (Glen Shee) ski centre is wholly in
Glen Clunie!
