Near Braemar: I'm guessing it's the little bridge that takes you from the golf course road over to the main 'A' road before nipping up to LochCallater Lodge?
I *do* remember that golf course road not being quite wide enough for both Lord Elpus and me to walk along side by side. We spent quite a little time climbing out of ditches at the side of the road.
But we were in good shape by the time we got to the Lodge - there was a party to attend!
I also remember climbing through two deer fences on the way to the bridge. It was only a year later that we realised that we had climbed into a tiny circular fenced woodland and out the other side, rather than walk around it...

But I could of course be wrong as I have never seen that bridge sober. Neither have you, by the look of the angle at which the photo was taken... :-)
That bridge ought to drink less.
Quite right Alan. Thought you'd get it. The angle was meant to fool - as if!
Lucky guess...

It had been a very good day at the Fife Arms.
Your name cropped up quite a lot on this holiday Alan - as we passed the Fife Arms, at the bridge, Bingo Wings playing in Ballater and so on.
Not long before you'll be back.
