The Scottish government has approved a 20 turbine wind power station at Moy near Inverness.
The developer appealed Highland Council's refusal of planning permission following the council's failure to reach a decision within the statutory four month period. How incompetent is that?

Utterly depressing. So central government trumps local feelings again.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they realise that continually doing this to Highland communities will alienate their voters?
By the time they do, the Highlands will be swamped by turbines, of course...
Hi Alan
DeleteDepressing for sure but I'm way beyond being surprised now. Thing is it didn't seem to alienate voters last May and, as you say, the damage will be well and truly done by the time that happens - if it does.
Incompetence, or a calculated delay by the brown envelope brigade?
ReplyDeleteHello Geoff
