Clearing up

Loch Bhraomisaig with Inverie below
Back home just in time to miss the poor weather that's forecasted. It's been a great trip with Knoydart the highlight, although Skye is always special. We're hoping to get away again soon with a trip to Rum if we are lucky (somewhere else if not). Meantime the garden etc has to be sorted and photos uploaded to SmugMug.

It looks as though you timed the weather perfectly.

I was hoping for a trip to the North West Highlands myself this week, but decided to wait until the weather improves.

Looking forward to seeing your photos, as Knoydart is getting close to the top of my places to visit list.

You'll probably get a better impression of Knoydart from photographs taken from the likes of Sgurr na Ciche, Ladhar Bheinn, Ben Aden etc since the three Corbetts we did are not really in the 'interior'. They do give a fair impression of Inverie and the sail from Mallaig though. We enjoyed this way of visiting Knoydart so much that we plan to do Ben Aden and Sgurr a' Choire bheithe backpacking from Inverie. What a grand way to spend a week! You won't be disappointed whichever way you visit.

Fingers crossed for more good weather for your trip to the NW.
