"The spirit was already aloft, I was pulling on my boots" - W H Murray, Mountaineering in Scotland
Good to hear you are getting around up there - a bit of snow certainly livens things up.
What top is this then?
Hi Alan - Innerdownie Hill. As above, I hadn't finished the post.
Hello Conrad. I must have clicked 'publish' instead of 'save' before rushing out to see friends hence a post that doesn't say anything.Anyway, it was good to be back on snowy hills again - snowier than the photographs suggest.
You see that snow and you just want to rush at it with the heels of your boots!Lovely pictures, Gibson.:-)
Hello Alan. I would have rushed if I'd had the energy. Unhurried, leisurely would be more accurate. Some, but not me of course, would say slow...These were, inexplicably, the only photographs taken.
I think Eiderdownie Hill would be better. Got a bit of a ring to it.
Hi Alan. Clever. Later in the day several 'eiderdownies' were needed to keep warm.
