Winter - at last
A substantial snowfall last night provided perfect conditions on the hill today. Well perhaps not 'perfect conditions', since the drifted snow was waist deep near the top with blasting spindrift. But who cares with weather like this.
Very atmospheric photos. I can feel the chill and sense that eerie silence and that special graded deep blue sky.
ReplyDeleteThanks Conrad. Skis would have made progress higher up much easier but my knee might not have liked it very much.
DeleteAnd very nice it looks too.
ReplyDeleteCheers Alan. Off out for a shorter walk today in the same conditions. Bliss.
DeleteGreat to see you enjoying the snow. Timperley just has an icy towpath!
