Monday 20 April - I think this rather fine



It's taken a while, but this beautiful larch tree on the route of our daily walk, has come to life.

    There has been a disease with Larch. Are you saying this one had it and recovered?

    Sir Hugh - I wasn’t aware that there had been a disease affecting Larch trees, recently at any rate. We’ve had Ash Dieback though. Lynne disagrees with me and says this Larch came into leaf just as expected so my description is wrong, misleading at best!
