Kenmore: heaven on earth! That mountain road to Amulree, passing Loch Freuchie, holds many happy memories; some years back we watched a male hen harrier whack a female buzzard with its talons for getting a bit too persistent. The buzzard had a considerable edge in terms of size and bulk, but it was no match for the harrier's manoeuvrability. Thankfully the only damage was to pride.
I've often wondered if it's possible to walk the whole length of The Tay from the outflow at Kenmore to the estuary, without needing (within reason) to leave the side of the river/firth.
Hi Dave, it’s good to hear from you. Yes, that is quite a road from Amulree. As to your second paragraph, perhaps there is an interesting trip to be had which will settle the matter.
